Excerpt from letter from Barry Pirtle, Adapto User:

I enjoy wearing the Adapto hearing aids. The comfort of the Adapto is far better than any of the numerous ones I have worn in the past – all styles and shapes. They are like they are not even there. The fit is very good and the sound is more comfortable, more acceptable. I do not get the harsh sounds that I got from other hearing aids. They really are, in every way, the most comfortable I have ever worn.

I put them in first thing in the morning. With the other hearing aids, I did not do that. I usually waited awhile before I put them on. But Adapto is so comfortable and effective that I will put them on first thing in the morning.
Adapto keeps the background noise down when I have quiet time. I’m able to relax much more. I don’t feel a strain wearing Adapto, as far as the extra sounds that you normally would hear with a lot of hearing aids.

My wife has definitely noticed a difference. She feels it is a genuine improvement. She can converse with me a lot better. I am able to listen to the radio or a conversation with anybody who is in the car with me. I always had problems with feedback. You get used to it but with Adapto, it does not happen that way. There is no feedback.
I’ve always had difficulty hearing other people, even at the same table with me in a restaurant. I found the few times I’ve used a restaurant since I’ve had these, it’s much different. I can hear everybody talk individually. I feel like I can carry on a conversation with them with no problem. These hearing aids cut down on background noise and allow me to hear speech. It is a very quick response time in hearing the human voice.
