Excerpt from letter from Alma Boge, Adapto user:

I wanted to write and let you know how pleased I am with my new Adapto hearing aids. For a first time user of hearing aids, I really was very, very happy, as was my husband with my choice. The part that has amazed me and my audiologist the most is that once he had me programmed on my first visit, I had no problems at all. You know I really adapted quickly and all I can say is that I adapted to Adapto! There is no fiddling around with them. I put them on in the morning, leave them in all day, and take them out at night. I don’t have to touch them except every 10 days or so to put in a new battery. It’s very simple.

At the end of the day, if I’m sitting reading or resting, the background noise is way down also, so I’m not hearing the refrigerator buzzing loudly or somebody vacuuming that loud. I know these things are going on around me, but with my new instruments it’s very comfortable.

One of the features that I’ve noticed a lot with Adapto is when we go to church on Sundays. We have a pastor that delivers great sermons, but he often drops his voice at the end of a statement and I could not hear the rest of what he was saying. Now with Adapto, I can follow him clear through to the end.

If I’d know two years ago what I know now and if Adapto had been available, I would have gotten hearing aids sooner. They aren’t any different than wearing a pair of earrings. I forget they’re in my ears. I don’t think about them during the day at all, I really don’t. There are just part of me now I guess.
